NGPDA Nationals

The NGPDA kicked off yesterday starting with Open Shootingdog. We got through 6 braces yesterday. Dogs of the day were: Shock (owner Jason Winans/ handler Dan DiMambro) and Jackson (O/H Lee Wagoner). Starting with brace 7 this morning.

Got through brace 12 today. Dogs of the day are (Jake: owner Hank Lewis, handler Dan DiMambro and Daisy: owner ?, handler Chris Goegan). Starting with brace 13 in the morning.

Jagermeisters' Dollop of Daisy - aka "Daisy" is owned by, us, Joe & La Cindy Orndorff. She won the NGSPA Shooting Dog Championship in Booneville this year.

Thank you Joe. I knew I knew who owned her but it wouldn't come to me. Congratulations on Booneville. I hear she put a really nice run down yesterday good luck.

DRUM ROLL!!! The NGPDA National Champion is Jake (owner: Hank Lewis, handler Dan DiMambro) and National Champion RU Opal (owners: James and Sarah Foster Messer, handler : Chris Goegan). Congratulations to all!! That was one heck of a brace it made you go wow!

NGPDA National Amateur Shootingdog Championship running order. Started this morning finished with the first 3 braces. Starting with brace 4 after lunch.

Derby Classic announcements:
Winner Mucci's Blu by You owned by Francesco Mucci and Handled by Dan DiMambro
2nd was Outbak's Let It Ride owned and handled byOutbak Kennel (Rich Barber)
3rd was Franchi's Son of a Gun (Frank) Owned byLauren Schulz and Jacob Schulz and handled byDennis Brath
Everyone took home dog food coupons from Purina, additional Purse money from the Raffle, awards and ribbons.
