Jerr has me by one point in the OSD Dog of the Year standings. He is kicking my butt. He has six points and I have five. But to my knowledge, he and I are at the top of the standings so far this year. Of course, we are only two trials into the year, depending on what you go to there are an awful lot left. You only get three points for a Regional Ch. and two for a RU Ch., and all the big points trials are yet to come, the Species and the National. And Jerr's dog is one of the favorites for the NGSPA OSD Championship, whereas I am not even in that (we are in the NC, you can't enter both).

I think, between the two of us, we might make it interesting though. Something to talk about. Jerr will have the dog to watch though, no pressure now. 8)

Thanks all. It means something coming from you guys.

We have five NGSPA hour titles on him, plus the FC, and he is still 4. Eldon told me somebody wanted to buy him last fall. I said thanks, but the ride is not over yet there is still some fun to be had.

The ride will be over some day, and who knows how it will turn out in the end. But along the way there will be alot of great memories of great performances by alot of great dogs, and most of all I hope, some good friends and alot of laughter. Means more to me than titles.
