Mason Dixon GSPC, Training Day 3-11 and Hunt Test 3-17,18

Located in Central Maryland within 20 minutes of I95.

Training Day:
Training is the wrong word. We will not train your dog in one session. What is being offered is a number of venues to run your dog on birds, with coaches over your shoulder. Novice dogs will be introduced to birds and blank guns.
Junior dogs will be coached , as well as handlers, in hunting, bird finding, and pointing, after the shot they can chase.
Senior and Master Dogs will have coaches to comment and gunners to shoot birds.
The idea of this event is to provide a learning environment with comments rather than end a run with ` Thank you Handler. `
Coaches are either Judges or handlers at that level. Training aids and long lines maybe used.

8 :00 runs begin Demo for Novice and Juniors
8:00 runs begin for Senior and Master dogs ( 30 mins)
12: 00 runs for staff @ bird cost.

Hunt Test:
The Spring Hunt Test is March 17-18 at McKee - Besher WMA, Seneca Md.
This is a great location prepared by DNR for our venue. The Shelter is in great shape, Smokin Ray is ready with `Que' and the Judges are ready for the Marshall's command that `Dogs are on the line'.
The grounds are ready for camping, with a pump for water and a port-a-pottie. RV's are welcome but we do not have hook - ups.
The event is one of the best on the east coast. Qualified judges, moving schedule, good food, raffles, pictures of your awards, a banquet on Sat. night. This event is a productive event as well as a good time. See your there.
