I basically need a book that covers dog field trials and AKC hunt tests. It has to cover everything, as if I were a kindergartener.
I need to know what to do, how to score, what scores mean (how many to title), what all those acronyms are, and everything inbetween.
Anyone know a good book like that? If not, anyone want to write one?

Steven,
I think you are SOL on a book that covers everything!
You might try getting a hold of the AKC rules for trials and another for hunt tests. THe are pretty much straight forward, not that ambiguous. I think they are free on the web site. www.akc.org
Any questoins after that, I would be happy to help out.
There are many formats of trials, each with their own rules. MAny are similar, all are fun! A bad day out with your dog is still far better than any good day at work!
