Locating events

Right now I'm looking mainly for AKC Hunt Tests. Where do you find info on these?

I checked the akc website and there's nothing listed for at least the next four months (when I searched individually, I didn't get any results for anything up until April, but I was also just searching IL & IN). Any other places I should check for these things, or is the akc site about it?

I guess I might have to broaden my search to include more states. I'm dreading the drive, though.

Clubs sponsored by the AKC put on the hunt test so try to find local clubs and check the event calendars for the various clubs in your area.

The Vizsla club link on that page was broken so I did some more searching to find the Vizsla club for you if you haven't already.

Looks like they have hunt test in February near Joliet, IL

Here is the events link for the AKC.......Enter the year, Event type, and State.

If you are looking for a braod spectrum, just to get an idea of what is coming up, try this........AKC is at the mercy of the clubs and the event secretaries, its a tough job and things might take time, so they dont get posted early enough sopmetimes.......Searc for events that happened last year, they usually take placwe on the same weekend the following year.
