NAVHDA Test

Post by snips » Wed Jan 26, 2005 7:10 am

I was wondering if anyone in the SE was interested in testing in NAVHDA N/A this spring? They were nt going to hold a spring test, just a Fall. I have a pup I want to test, how bout you Grant or Greg? They talked like they would put one together if there was enough interest. If you do you might send an e-mail to Norm Prima or the Middle Tn Chapter. I thought I would add his e-mail, please don`t e-mail him unless you are serious about testing. hawkhollow@blomand.net

Sounds good guys. Hopefully he can get it together. He was aiming for Apr or May. I told him I was out for the end of Apr., May would be perfect. Hot enough for water work too. I am leaving tomorrow for a week, Tx bound again. Maybe they will have it together by the time I get back.

Sudie, it would probably be held near Nashville at the Percy Priest WMA. Great grounds, they have FT's there, their first Hunt Test there in Feb. There are lots of great lakes for water work. The N/A Test is not too hard, some tracking, hunting and pointing, and desire to enter the water. I think they should be 16 mo or under to title. Of course the Utility is much more involved. I am not sure if they will hold the Utility test in the spring. There will be a test in the fall. I was just interested in getting some of these pups tested. My guy would love it, he's part Beaver.

Yep. I had to sort thru 85 e-mails when I got home.....It looks fine. I don`t know anything about copying and editing. I might just write a small revision to a couple of things and add it. Since I wrote that I have learned a couple of short cuts.

Sudie, are you near Lynchburg? There is a NSTRA trial there next weekend, I have some friends/clients there that have an awsome female by Logan that are going to run in it. Just wondering, thought you guys might like to go watch, (or run).

We`re not going. I think Les and Denise are going, they have a couple of GSP`s. They need more GSP`s up there kicking tail. If you want info or directions the Chairmans no. is Bill Berkely at 540-586-3446. Bill and his wife are friends also.
