I absolutely love my Danner Grouse boots. I needed a different sole for chukar hunting and I thought I'd try the East Ridge. However, I had to send them back because the fit just wasn't right. Turns out the the East Ridge is built on a different last than the Grouse Hunter. FWIW.

I love my Danner Pronghorns. I put ~700 miles in the prairie fields, snow, rocky coulees and sagebrush on my first pair and they're still good enough to keep as my backup boots. I replaced them with a new pair of Pronghorns last year only because I got a 40% discount from a manufacturer's rep at a sportsman's show. I like the new ones even more than the old ones.

I actually just got a pair. They need to be broken in, but I’m happy with them so far
