Coupled with the Perfect Start, this series is awesome. I don't believe you could go wrong if you embraced their method.
Pros:
LOTS, LOTS, and LOTS of really good content.
covers e-collar well
Trains an untrained dogs, some are bold and some are not.
I'll add more soon...

I got both in the series, and I have to second everything Grant has said. You see them train dogs... not just use pre-trained dogs for photo-ops. If Jon has a problem it's in the video, and he explains how to deal with it. If he gets away lucky, without a problem, he'll still discuss some of the most common problems/reactions a dog might do and how to correct or avoid them.

Perfect Finish Video
I know it's late but I just got through watching Disc #2 of the Perfect Finish. I am not sure if it is me or not but it looks like there are several scenes repeated in the middle where he is working with a dog named "Angus". Has any one else noticed this or could I have a bad DVD.
Two down and one to go but the amount of information is awsome. On top of that I got to attend his seminar last weekend. The seminar is abbreviated but still a good opportunity to ask questions and get some one-on-one. If you get the opportunity you should go.

Yes, they repeated scenes for some reason. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me too.

Ryan,
I'm not unhappy with the video, it is an excellent series. I did talk with Jon about the repeat scene and he said they thought the theme was so important they wanted to make sure it wasn't overlooked. Several friends and I have been using the "Perfect Start" method with their young ones and the "Perfect Finish" with the older ones. Although it takes a ton of birds, the results have been more than expected. I bet we have gone through 400 pigeons since May and the transition to quail and chuckar will start soon. Hopefully it will not take to long based on the progress we have seen.
