I am very happy with this product. I got the medium (a little big for my 40 lb Viz but, I did this on purpose so I could also use it on my 60 lb. GSP).

She was not hesitant at all in the field with this on. Didn't seem to bother her in the least.

Great product.

Here it s on my Viz.....

I would recommend this protector as well. I tried the Mendota and found the Cabelas vest, on my Setters, to be far better protection.
Good product and stays aligned on the dog.

How does it fit on your 60lb gsp. I have a EP about the same weight?

They are nice for a dog with a shorter coat but dogs like britts or setters are better of with a Skid plate since it doesn't go all the way around the body. JMO
