cold weather gear (for dogs)?

Just wondering if anyone can reccommend some cold weather stuff for the pooches? I have a GSP and she gets pretty cold sometimes. She has the neoprene vest, but it seems to really scoop at the neck and collect snow/ice. I made a fleece liner for it, but the snow just shovels right in there. I have made her sweaters, but the armholes are so big . . . just seems like nothing really fits right. I am not a good of enough sewer to figure out the dimensions of a dog's body. Any ideas??? I'd like her to be able to stay out longer in the winter. By the amount of ice and snow that gathered in her suit today, I was thinking she might even be better off wearing nothing. We went in since she was shivering so badly. On the other hand, it's good to know I can outlast her at something.
