Mud River Dixie Kennel Cover

Post by displaced_texan » Mon Mar 14, 2011 10:41 pm

I take my EP pup to work just about every day, and didn't want to take the aluminum 3 dog box everywhere. So I picked up one of these to throw on an extra kennel.

It exceeded my expectations, fits good, VERY well made, well thought out but not gimicky...

Any one use one in the summer with a fan? Curious if the insulation will help any...
I have English Pointers because they don't ever grow up either...

You'll like them. I debated back and forth for probably a year before getting one. I wish I hadn't waited.

I have them on both my kennels, one is a year and a half old been in the back of the truck constantly and is holding up very well, One thing I do recommend is getting some spray water proofing and applying it to them to help keep water from soaking into the insulation and help fight against damage from the sun. Covers holding up well even in Alaska's conditions but I found that the crate mat doesnt do so well with the dog wadding them up when its cold, the vinyl on the underside just cracks and crumbles.
