I really liked the collar. Blaze orange, with name and phone number embroidered on. The problem is the hardware corroded and turned my dogs neck grey.
Looking at a leather replacement from Gun Dog Suppy or the nylon Mud River with metal buckle. I read that the brass hardware doesnt corrode like the plated stuff. Is this true?

I use the brass hardware and have never had a problem.

For any of my waterfowl gear I use brass hardware (collars, leashes, etc.) because it doesn't rust and it tends to not shine.
