Lion Country Supply

Post by ROTTnBRITT » Fri Nov 04, 2011 1:06 pm

Gotta put in a good word for LCS. My dog lossed his bell when hunting on Wednesday. Thursday morning I got online and ordered a new one from them. Got back to work today after lunch from a meeting and the box was sitting on my desk. Now I have a replacement bell for Saturdays hunt. :D

It is nice that they are close to me and UPS Ground is a next day delivery from them, so I didnt have to pay extra for faster shipping. But they did a good job getting my order out the door the same day.
I did have to put in the "special instruction" box to have it shipped UPS. Prolly would have gone through the mail if not. Not sure how long that would have taken.

LCS is awesome!! A few weeks ago they had their LCS day and it was great too. I don't know if you got to go but I was there and blogged a bit about it.

Hey Ezzy

Pretty sad but some of these guys just don't get It, or understand what makes the world go around.

Thanks Bob

I was using Gundog Supply long before they had a BB. You just can't beat them for service.

I feel a need to weigh in.

I have for years had great service from Gundog Supply, Lion Country Supply, and Dogs Unlimited. However, I have found that each at times has a better product for what I am looking for and/or a better deal when they carry the same items.

I do not feel I am being disloyal to anyone when I seek out the product I like best of all available or when I seek the best deal when the same product is carried by all. I am sure that Gundog Supply understands that they are in competition and if they are made aware of areas where they are not competing well, it gives them opportunity to see what they can do about it.

This forum has been a place to share information freely among members and I think we all benefit from honest evaluation of goods and services available in the market place.

I think it a big mistake to move this forum so far down the path of commercialization and censorship of opinion that we are not allowed to converse freely about any kind of gundog related issues.

Thanks for enduring.

Just got my e-collar from Gundog Supply. Excellent service and quick delivery. I also appreciate them for providing me this platform from which I solicit free advice from my senior peers

Tou don't need to be sorry and I agree with Kmack that it alright to tell people about good deas you find and where. I did say something back some time ago when someone posted about how they recommended some other site to buy from. I check them all whe looking for a certain product and if there is little difference I buy from GDS since they are willing to spend money to help us.

But no one is telling you you can't talk about some other house, I just wanted eveyone to be aware of who is proviving all of us a place to talk.

Well High Brass made it sound pretty unacceptable.
If gun dog supply could get me an order in one day using ground shipping when I'm in a pinch I'm sure I could say the same about them.

In the end it didn't really matter. The bell was l lost in the first 15 min of the hunt, so I didn't have it anyways. :(
