SportDOG TEK-V1LT 1.0 GPS+E-Collar

Post by Brittlver » Sat Dec 24, 2011 1:31 pm

Is this system any good or is better to go the Garmin and get an e-collar separately?

I posted this question on another forum this summer when they first came out and so far 0 response. You'd think someone would have bought one by now :?

Likewise, I've been looking for the same answer. This is the closest thing I could find, looks like it's functional but not nearly the GPS capabilities of the Garmin Astro.

I have one. Have not used the e-collar side yet, but like the handheld and tech better than the Garmin. The unit is with my trainer right now for a comparative review.

ac

Keep us posted. I like the simple approach to the SD Tek. It seems less complicated and easer to work. The lower cost is nice but what atrracts me is that it does not seem overed engineered.

love it... had been using a 320/dc40 with a tritronics attached. TEk is much better system. Now have for sale a 320 with three dc40 collars along with the tritronics and three collars if anybody wants it.
