Pants

Post by mcbosco » Mon May 07, 2012 12:45 pm

I may have mentioned this before, but I have had these pants for years and they outwear the Carhartt pants easily and they are light years more comfortable.

They also resist even rose and raspberry thorns which are an issue where I live.

The inseam, waist and crotch designs are much better than Carhartt as well. There is no clunky fold in the crotch like Carhartt, much easier to deal with when on a long drive.

Those look good. I just have trouble getting past the price. I'm still using my Carhart bibs I bought 10 years ago though they are getting pretty badly blood stained from a lot of deer and birds.

You know I did once, but it didn't get everything out. It really doesn't bother me much but I don't wear them to church anymore. :?

Try Oxyclean. They are $10 bucks more a pair but worth it, especially when its warm.

Sal: you are my hero:  They have the type of shirt I was looking for a few months ago and never found.

Regarding the pants: Does the back side come up higher than the Carhartts and Wranglers? In other words no plumbers crack?

Do you have the tech pants or the ones in the middle?

thanks,
Rick

I'm with you the price seems a little steep... But have you priced Carhartts recently? Man they must have gold stitching.

Sal what do you like about these? I see the thorn/briar resistance but how about all day comfort? Are the a warm heavy pant or are they a lighter weight?

Rick, that is best part about these pants the rise is for a guy, so yes no plumber's crack, no binding on the waist and the gusset crotch mean no thick seem grinding against you.

I have Carhartts and the rise is just not enough so you get all compacted and you get the plumbers crack.

When this company says these pants are comfortable in the crotch, they aren't kidding.

I have the ones in the link. Original Tree Climbers.

Cooper, they are a lighter more comfortable pant but just as durable. The knees are doubled up. I think there is a flannel-lined tyoe.

You don't feel like jumping out of them once you get home.

Those look nice too. Lots of pockets to go along with the clever crotch design.

I have not worn anything other than Levis 560's for years, because there was nothting else that fit right.

THanks, for the heads up.

Glad you like them, now people won't laugh when you bend over to pick something up!!! :D
