Dog kennels

Post by USMC » Tue Mar 26, 2013 8:26 pm

Okay!

Can anyone recommend a kennel (dog run) for my dog?

Used the search feature and got dog breeder kennels....

Tell me a brand and where to get it from. Got the concrete pad and just need the panels...

10 x 5 x 6

Thanks,

Usually the most reasonable priced ones come out of farm stores like tractor supply, bomgarrs, etc.

Check out Hoover fence co. The quality is superb.
A little more expensive but same quality is mason kennels.
What ever you get make sure it's 9 gauge. Stay away from local stores home depot, etc. The kennels are junk.

Mason is good stuff, but expensive. I bought a 3 dog setup from TK Products as thier price was right there with Priefert, etc. with what I consider a much better product. Give Dave a call and talk through it with him - I think you'll be very happy.

Ditto I have a nice 2 run setup from Dave and I love the quality, service, delivery, etc!

Any local chain link fence company can make you the panels you need. 9 guage wire is very nice and has small holes so dogs don't get feet stuck in them. Make sure they use a dog kennel latch on the gate not the U shaped. I would slant the top for water drainage.

The best value I have found is Dr Bob from tractor supply, they are not chain link, but the welded wire, about a 1/3 less than prefert.

I got the 8x16 model, was all set up within an hour. I also switched the canvas top with the corrugated metal and they didnt charge any extra.
