Orvis waxed strap vest

Anybody ever use the orvis waxed strap vest ?
I love mine , it has Great features like dual pockets on each side shell pocket is spring loaded the gear pocket has velcro closers and water bottle pockets in the back , double horizontal chest straps spaced correctly and is very light weight .
I would like to see D rings on each strap or chest side , a better blood Shield to protect the back of my shirt and a a pair of bed roll straps for my jacket when removed .
But what concerns me the most is I wore holes in the webbing in one season , my log shows 39 hunts that year
Anybody have any experience with it.
