rivers west h2p dog vest

anyone use this? I like the fact they were developed and cut to fit pointing breeds. however the fleece aspect has me wondering about briars and tough cover....from South Dakota and hunt just about every kind of cover.

Don't know personally, but read the reviews on Amazon. One person said it did not do well with burrs and barbed wire.

We bought 3 vests last fall and have used them a lot, but mostly in late season grass or stubble. Burrs have not been an issue, but the sizes are too small even if you measure carefully. We have found that we had to order a full size up from what the size chart specified.
These vests would be better if they were longer over the dog's croup and top of tail, and covered more of the flank and hip area. The material is excellent for warmth, wind and wet protection. The zippers are sturdy and easy to use, and the Velcro really holds.
