I'm taking a loss on my Garmin Virb Elite and trading it back to Amazon. The video quality was excellent but I had no idea where the camera might be pointed or if it was actually recording. The optional wrist controller I had bought was basically an on/off switch and I would have no idea with the camera was actually running. anyway, I'm looking for a different small videocam but am not interested in a GoPro due to price and the lack of a easy to use remote controller. Sony offers a number of these small videocams with remotes that have a small screen so you know where your camera is pointed and some record on/off functionality (allegedly). Does anyone here have one of the Sony videocams or some other product that is easy to use and lets you know where its pointed if worn in a harness? thanks

I know you said no Gopro but look around for a good used 3+ black, 4+silver or black, or the gopro session. Should be able to find the slightly older ones for a fairly reasonable price.
