Avatar Instructions PLEASE!!! (Got it figured out!)

I have been trying to put an avatar on here for a long time and can't figure it out. Can someone please provide step by step instructions on how to do that from photobucket ?

I tried that again and I keep getting a message that I have an uncorrect URL. What now?

Now my avatar has a "user avatar in window, with a red "x" in it. Surely someone knows what I need to do.

you should just save the picture in "my pictures" on your computer then when you're at edit avatar click browse and get the picture from "my pictures"

I just did a link from photobucket to change my avatar and it worked for me. Are you coping and pasting the direct link code from the picture you want to use? Looks like you're trying to use the image code.

I DID IT!!! Saving the photo from photobucket to my computer worked!! Thanks a bunch.
