How to post a pic in post????

How does one place a picture from album or from my computer on to a post? I pushed the image button but it only says IMG and does not seem to have a way to get the photo.

Put the web location of the image between the IMG and /IMG tags. Like this:

[IMG]http://www.yoursite.com/yourimage.jpg[/IMG]

Please forgive my ignorance. So if the photo is in my album at GDF how would it read. If it is on my PC (my pictures) how would it read?
