It is with a heavy heart and sorrow that my father Big Jim

Berneathy has passed away. My father had beaten Leukemia TWICE and was

sent home last Thursday IN REMISSION!!!!! NO CANCER!!! He returned to

the hospital Sunday for a routine blood transfusion. It is at this

point where ingnorance and stupidity of medical professionals enter and

gave him the wrong type blood.... He was O+ and A+ was administered

proving fatal. This blood cocktail is absolutely the worse possible

mixture and is almost always ended in mortality on a healthy person and

he was although considered in remission from the cancer not at his best

and fought for two long long and trying days on him and our family. My

dad was one of the toughest men ever to walk the face of this planet

and fought valiently. Human error killed my father and yes right now

not only are we very sad but I am at the least PISSED OFF. He was very

very happy when the outpouring of private support from our community

rolled in when he was diagnosed and loved everybody. We have lost a

great Brittany enthusiast that stretches fourty years. Please send

support to my mother he was her best friend for 45 years. Jimmy

Absolutely a senseless loss Prayer to Family friends and the Brittany community as a whole ..though I never had the privilege to meet him he was a strong hold in the Brittany world
