32x NSTRA 6x AmCH Nolan's Last Bullet

Post by kninebirddog » Mon Sep 15, 2008 7:24 pm

I just got the email from Nolan ...Today 6x Amch 32x NSTRA Champion Nolans Last Bullet aka Buddy was laid to rest.

Buddy Sure made his mark not only with his record but also that of his progeny.

Buddy was 14 years old.

As I told Nolan...He is running full speed again headed to the back of the field going to where the birds are.

Buddy has done a lot for the Brittanys..competed against pointers setters and GSP's and won At this point His 32 x NSTRA championship are still the Most Championships attained in NSTRA

God Speed Buddy

What a great dog, competitor, sire, you name it. Sad day for Brittany lovers, and dog lovers in general. Best dog of this decade!!!!!!!!!!

This is truly a sad day.I'm proud to say that not only did I get to meet Buddy and watch him run on many occasions but that I am also owned by one of Buddy's progeny. Buddy was truly an exceptional Brittany and will be missed by many. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to Nolan at his time of loss.

I am so very sorry for Nolan. He is a once in a lifetime dog. I ran against him a bunch, they were an awsome team. Please tell him I am sorry.

That is too bad. My father is going to Indiana next month to compete in the Dog of the Year trial with a grandson of Buddy and was hoping Buddy might be there. He wanted to meet the grandsire of not only the dog competing, but his other brittany pup as well.

He died almost a year ago now. He was getting old but had a great record in NSTRA.
