White Rock Rye

Post by dlfl » Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:23 am

He was hit by a car Saturday. Rye was the most loving dog I have ever had, he craved human companionship. he would curl up between my legs on the recliner and look up into my eyes with an expression of pure content.

This is three dogs in 11 months and I hope the last lost for some time.

That's terrible news. He was such a pretty boy. Best wishes to you and yours at this difficult time....

Gosh, that's a real tough one to hear. I remember seeing the first pics less than a year ago and how excited you were to get him home. My heart-felt condolences to you.

I am so sorry to hear about Rye. We've unfortunately been in the same situation, and it just plain sucks, doesn't it. They were much too young.... I like to think Brodhi has found LT, Sophie, Rusty, and Sallee, and they are hunting with Uncle Frank up in the big fields of Heaven. Maybe Rye and Luke will join them. I hope you are doing okay at this point.... Take care, Chelsea (And I just found out Josie got hit by a car, too... I hope she's with our pack of much-missed little Llews.)

Too often we ponder the thoughts of what could have been done differently. Simply put, Nothing.
God puts us in situations of strife for a reason.. I don't know why bad things have to happen to good people, and dogs. It just isn't fair. You must take stock in the fact that you gave a great dog a wonderful home and life. The time spent together will be something neither of you will ever forget. I am very sorry for your loss.

we'll be thinking of you.
