Crosswind Truckin Fritz

Post by Drifter Saver » Tue Jun 22, 2010 9:06 am

Scott Townsend and the dog world lost one of the recent bests with the passing of Fritz. For those of you who didn't have the good fortune of seeing Fritz in person, he was a pure specimen. His training (and performances) were at a level that many of us strive for during our entire dog ownership. He was a top notch competitor, producer and overall bird dog. Fritz was a 16X NSTRA Champion, 3X Michigan Regional Elimination Champion, 3X National Champion, 2X Runner-up National Champion and he was always in the trailer with Scott during hunting trips.

RIP Fritz (2000-2010)

Always a tough situation. Sounds like he was given every opportunity to become the best at what he was put on this earth to do. Condolences.

Very fitting he was this year's Trial of Champions winner. If a dog ever has to pass on.....That's the way to go out....On Top!

10 is just too young. My condolences on your loss Scott. The time we have with them is just way to short.

Thanks everyone. He was diagnosed with cancer and died 2 weeks after that. He was certainly a special dog to me, but more then that he was my buddy. I will miss him greatly.

Scott, that is horrible news. You guys were a great team and I feel very fortunate to have seen you two in action first hand.

My Deepest Condolences,
