Lost my old hunting partner this afternoon

My long time hunting partner Annie (GSP) died today while in surgery while having a tumor removed. She was 13 but I did not expect to lose her in surgery today. I along with my family will miss her dearly. But I do have many great memories!

So sorry for your loss. Sometimes, it's the unexpected losses that are the hardest to understand. But, having watched my 10 year old lab struggle with cancer for months before letting her go, it just might be for the best. 13 years is a long time but it leaves a deep void. Again, sorry for your loss and here's to the memories...
