As I write this I can't hold back the tears. Yesterday afternoon the bird dog world lost one of the greats. Jim Demarco passed over the rainbow bridge way too early. I guess God was in need of a great field trial judge, and decided it was time to call Jim home.
Not only a great bird dog guy, but a true gentleman and family man. He never met a stranger.
Please pray for his wife Tammy in this moment of sorrow.
Rest in peace buddy. May your dogs always be to the front, and all of their points be covies!

Whoa, I am very sorry to hear this. Prayers for his wife.

Man, sad to hear. Jim judged the first trial I ran. Always fair and took time to answer any questions. Surely will be missed. Prayers to all his family

It is very sad to hear Jim is gone. It was not too long ago I saw him judge at Branched Oak, Lincoln, NE. He was a true gentleman.
