Otis

Post by Don » Mon Dec 24, 2007 11:08 am

I lost him this morning. I'll be gone a few days.

God made the earth, the mountains, the valleys and the sky,
He made the wind, the rain and the sun.
But he didn't make the dog,
He already had one.

Good-bye my friend.

Sorry to hear that Don I know he has been around in your life for some time

Give your new boys a hug and smile at their antics and when you think of Otis think of him in the big bird field running strong ...

Take care

Don,

He led a full and happy life and went to his reward without a lot of pain and suffering. Its always hard but remember that you both are better because you got to spend time together. You know he is happy and he wants you to be too.

Man this is rough. My heart really goes out to you and Chris on this Christmas Season. I don't think a dog could ask for any more than what folks here share with them. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Otis. Remember the times afield and hopefully they will make you smile.

I'm so sorry Don, and on Christmas Eve. He was a very lucky dog to have you Don, and You him. I'm glad you have the youngsters but I know your bed will be a little lighter on one side. My best to you Don. I unfortunately do know how you feel.

Sorry to hear that Don. The fact that he lived to such a ripe old age speaks very well of you as his caretaker.

I've never been lucky enough to have a bird dog that long, I envy your time together. Hang in there. Mike
