A highly similar bill has also been introduced in two other states. The persons sponsoring this bill will come after the Birddog competitions if and when they succeed in picking off the coyote hunters.

Yep another foot in the door deal. California and Oregon usually lead the charge on this stuff. It started with hound hunters and stock dogs and now this. Thanks for posting and everyone be politically aware.

PETA got an item put on the California DFG advisory board agenda that stated: Dogs could not be used in taking of any game. They claimed they didn't mean bird dogs, but that is not what it said. It read " ANY GAME". How did it even get on the agenda? They day of the hearing which was heavily attended, a female PETA member was seen giving an appointed commissioner a blow job in the parking garage. MY how CA politics works. When the incident was brought to the attention of DFG, they said sex between consenting adults was not their problem. The commissioner later resigned.
