The Indiana State House ... Proposed Legislation for 2009 - HB 1244 in the general session:
this is proposed to bring back lifetime resident fishing, hunting (and combination) and trapping licenses.

They are a bit steep; 20 to 60 times current annual fees, depending on what configuration you buy. The 60x is for hunting and covers all possible deer, turkey, bird tags.
For me and at today's current prices combo to cover all STATE (not the federal duck stamp) licenses and tag would be $1,377, if I read the bill correctly. However, with what I'd normally buy ... its less than 15 yrs and I could / would hunt even more by doing this (which would /could cut this to less than 7 yrs).Anyway ...
