Does anyone know where I can find a book or video on the training methods of Bill West?

Yes, Brad Higgins on here sells the dvds. Bill West was a genius with dogs. The video is not real great but the training methods are. Good luck

Hope you are not talking about the other Bill West. The one I am talking about is the West/Gibbins method.

Charles
Dave Walker trains with a modified version of Bill's training methods. He has a video series and an in-depth training manual that are very good.

Charles, there is also a field manual out there that you can purchase for around 10 bucks as well.

I have never been a alvocate of books or reading a method. I like to see it done and videos are great. I use to post on their upland bird dog site long ago and knew about the method and nothing compares to seeing it.
