Kent Ultimate Fast Lead
Kent Ultimate Fast Lead
Heading to North Dakota next week and taking my 20 gauge.
I was going to pick up a few boxes of the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant 1 oz #5's but then I saw the Kent Ultimate Fast Lead for about $4.00 cheaper per box.
Anyone have any experience using the Kent Ultimate Fast Lead?

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I have shot the Kent and find that it compares well to the Fiocchi....especially for $4 a box. You might find it burns just a bit dirtier than Fiocchi, but performance wise it's good stuff.
Re: Kent Ultimate Fast Lead
I bought some in 12ga a couple of years ago late in the season and they worked great! I actually liked them better than the Winchester Super Pheasant loads. I haven't seen them in 20ga around here or I would buy some. I didn't care for the Fiocchi (sic) Golden Pheasant loads that I had in 20ga #5's. Might be that my gun didn't pattern well with them but it seemed like I had a hard time killing with them vrs the Winchester Super X #6's that I usually shoot in 20ga.
Of all the places I've been, this is one of them!

Save yourself some money and buy the Kent Fast Lead. They do great job if you do your part.
Re: Kent Ultimate Fast Lead
We shot Kent shells on our pheasant trip to South Dakota last year and they worked well for us. The only downside to them was that they seemed pretty dirty and after a day of shooting, our guns had a lot more residue in the barrels than they normally do after shooting other brands. Not really a huge deal, I'd use them again, especially if they were at a better price than anything else.

I shoot Kent Fast lead in both 20 and 12. So far this year I have taken 5 species with it and am always worried when I shoot something else. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
I knocked down 2 sage grouse with Kent after a watching my buddy shoot some stuff that could not seal the deal.
