Has anyone used a TE scott Above ground dog kennel with a whelping box on the back end to raise a litter of pups, and if so, what can you tell me about the benefits/drawbacks to this method and what did you have to modify from the normal layout to use it.
thanks

I really like this type of setup for raising pups. It keeps them up out of their waste and closer to eye level when they start bonding with people.

Big Dave,
Do you add anything to the rod floor, seems like the spacing is two wide for small pups?

The first ones I saw used for pups had a different type of floor, we have put a strip of plywood down the middle when they are first whelped.
