Thats awesome. Believe it or not, I have a little roan brit named Georgia as well. Cant imagine a better dog, or a better name. Funny thing is that 2 years after I got my pup (and my brother got her litter mates) we found a pup looking for a good home. I sent my dad some pictures and guess what? 15 years after losing our last brittany, my mom and dad have a beautiful long legged brit running around the house. I can't wait to go home in 2 weeks to WA and do some spring salmon fishing with her in the boat. She's going to be a regular staple and hopefully our good luck charm when we go fishing. I still ove to see the smile on my dads face when he talks about his puppy. Shes off to summer camp in July and hopefully she will make him a nice hunting dog.

Thanks for all the kind words! We went up to my parents place this last weekend and we snapped a few photos. We hadn't seen Georgia for a couple weeks. She has definitely grown! As you will see she is loved by everyone! Below is the photobucket link, hopefully it works, I've only used photobucket a hand full of times. If it doesn't work let me know and I'll post the photos. The album contains photos of Georgia, my parents, Karli (girlfriend), Jerzo (our dog), Bentley (family dog) and apparently someone snapped a photo of me. I have other good photos that I need to get posted but my mother seemed to misplace her cord. Enjoy and thanks again for the kind words. Its sure fun having a puppy around!

Hello Ryan,

She is roaning up very nicely, I can't wait to see her when she is a little older. Is your dad going to have her fixed? I don't recall if I ever asked you that before. I am kind of hoping that he isn't as she is shaping up to be a real good looking dog.

Good afternoon Mark ~

Yeah she's looking good! I love the orange roan myself. He said he was planning to have her fixed. I really want a french britt myself but thats probably 2-3 years out. He did mention the other day that since I want a french britt that maybe we should look into having her bred a couple years down the road so not exactly sure at this point. Don't know if breeding her just because I want a french britt pup, especially from you/Vern, would necessarily be a good reason to have her bred? What do you think? Neither my father or myself have ever bred a dog and/or raised pups. Not really sure about all the details. Obviously her hips would need to be checked/certified and we would need to find a worthy sire. I'm assuming its not cheap to have a litter of pups and we would need to know that they were going to good homes. My dad has never trialed dogs, not sure if thats necessary when breeding one litter or not. Lot to think about I guess. Feel free to pm, call or post on here with any feedback.

Don't think I've ever seen such a bold pup. She's smart as a whip. I think she's going to be one heck of a bird dog so it would be cool to have a pup from her.

Thanks again for everything, can't even describe in words how much little Georgia means to my dad!

Ryan,

Give me a call about it one of these days. This is probably not the right place to discuss it.

A couple updated photos of Georgia. She's coming along nicely. She rarely leaves my fathers side. I'm excited to see her hunt this fall....thanks again Mark D!

She is a handsome girl. She looks like an in shape miniature of my Stella dog. Looks like you all are enjoying her.

Beautiful dog. I'm probably biased though, as I have male of similar coloring.
