Karen, when I bred Jasmine this spring, I had the same problem with the temperature. I took it every morning and night. My vet said that I should compare morning temps to morning temps. Not sure if that is true or not as it was her only litter (so far!). Hope it goes well for you!!!Karen wrote:Her last litter was 7 pups (5 girls, 2 boys), not sure how many were in the litter she came out of though.
Her temperature is all over the place. I bought a new 10 second digital thermometer for this. Sunday & Monday her temp was between 100 and 100.3. Tuesday morning it read 98.8, last night it was 100.7. This morning it was 98.7. I'm wondering if I should stop at CVS and buy a new thermometer or if her temp is really that erradic.
She decided last night that she hates her whelping box (she's been sleeping in it and being fed in it for 10 days now, just to get her used to it without any issues), and barked for an hour straight until I went downstairs and slept in the recliner, then she was quiet. She better whelp soon...I'm not sure my back can take another couple nights in a recliner.
