Blank Pistols

I just wanted to say that the people over at H&R/NEF are great. I personally think the older H&R branded pistols are better then the NEF pistol, but they stand behind their product. I have sent my 32cal pistol in twice now for repairs, once from my doing and this last time was a part failure internal to the gun. They have covered free of charge the repairs both times, and just cost me shipping and the time, and my gun is way out of the advertised warranty.

Anyway, I think their guns are pretty good, and their service dept. makes them even better.

Can you buy those pistols online? Website link? Also, are they considered firearms? I ask because I wonder if there would be a problem getting them shipped to Canada.

they are not considered firearms in the US, but shipping them is dicey anyway, because they show up on an x-ray as a pistol with a barrel. to carry one on an airline in the US, you need to declare it at the ticket counter as you would a firearm. don't know about cross-border stuff.

I have an ancient H&R .32. Has taken a ton of abuse.

I have seen them online, but most I just looked up say back ordered. I got mine from Wilson Dunn at 800-456-5150 they specialize in field trial stuff. They are located in Grand Junction, TN. Give them a call they will know about any special things about shipping to Canada.

Thanks. I am currently using a cheap .22 starter pistol that only takes crimps. I would like to get something a bit more reliable.

Ive recently got a 32 LCS champion starter pistol. Real nice REAL LOUD, my ears are still ringing. I wonder what it does to the dog?? ow. Depending on how much you use it. A 22 would be fine. Dont waste 100+$ when a 30 dollar one will do fine.

yes, they are too loud. put it behind your back, away from the dog when you fire it. make sure no one is back there.

I bought the cheapest one sold by Cabela's. So far, so good, but I haven't put many rounds through it yet.

Where are you at Gusto. I have 5 new .209 starter pistols coming in.
I live just outside of Toronto in Brampton, Ontario.

Gusto, if you don't get one from Maverick, try Cleves Sporting goods if you have one near by. That's where I got my cheap .22
