Great pics everyone! They are all nice , long as they are showing you where the birds are at and are intense! Or retrieving them with gusto . Or just being great couch potatoes
I thought these were not too bad, especially for his first time on birds....

Here are a few of mine:
My pointer backing, Running on wild pheasants:
My wife's Crosswind bred pup. His second time on birds, only 9 months old. I think Townsend may have posted this one already:
My shorthair backing Scott's pointer:
My oldest shorthair:
The things I consider to be stylish:
High head, flat topline, high tail. I cannot stand a dog who is constantly low in front, or looks like he is taking a crap on point. Style goes a lot farther than most think.

I'll agree with your description completely. I wish I had some hunting pics on the computer. I usually take a disposable hunting. Need to start taking the digital.
I have English Pointers because they don't ever grow up either...

I say something like "intensity" but after 375 posts I figure everything that needs to be said has been said.

I don't know Sharon, I think it's worth repeating. Intensity is style or style comes from intensity.....however you want to say it.

This is style to me, high head and high tale. Nothing prettier than to find this on birds. By the way these are littermates.

Re: Whats Style to you ?
For longtails it's the tail between 11 and 12 o'clock. Either straight or with a slight curve. Dog is intense w/ears cocked and it's quivering like it's going to explode.
They're all broke 'til they break.
