One Championship Down
One Championship Down
As I usually just post hunting photos in the fall, I thought I'd change it up a little.
I finished off Cage's NSTRA Championship on the 28th of April, week shy of him turning 3. This trial was Cage's 9th double/double trial, started off slow learning the game but this spring has been a blast as he figured it out. The last 16 runs Cage has taken a 4th place or better 8 times, a 50% placement rate!!!!! It's fun seeing a dog that runs a true Western Shooting Dog Race wild bird hunting, automatically real it in for a 40 acre field without taking a step out of bounds. Shows what a dog with some brains can put together when developed right. Hopefully this is just the beginning, like anything tires can fall off at any moment, especially in NSTRA, so good to have this little step out of the way. Currently tied for #1 dog in the Region with one trial left, next weekend. See what happens, either way thought I'd share some pics from the spring, and can't wait till hunting season!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was pretty sure you were , better bring some rain gear, it is really wet up here and forcast says it's gonna stay that way for a while. I will try to swing by and watch the action on Saturday for a while if I can. Good Luck Matt, who are you tied with?

Looks like the weather may brighten up according to the latest forecast Matt, but I would still bring some rain gear just in case.
Re: One Championship Down
Thanks for the heads up, I've been watching all of my radar and weather apps, it's looks like we could get lucky.ymepointer wrote:Looks like the weather may brighten up according to the latest forecast Matt, but I would still bring some rain gear just in case.
