Hey all, I am trying to plan a general location east of the northern front range to hit up once the season opens in a few weeks. Young pup has been doing really well on some farm raised phez and I want to get out and see what he can do on some wild birds. Obviously not expecting your secret spots, but any areas that are worth a few hour drive to check out? Planing on a little father son hunting when the old man comes to visit and would love to get into some birds. Any help would sure be appreciated so I'm not forced to pickin a spot on a map and wingin it. (no pun intended) THANKS!!!!
Andy

I'm hearing it won't be a great year for CO or western KS. Try near Sterling if you're just doing open access CRP...

I saw a dead rooster on the side of the road in boulder. Perhaps that's where they will be this year. Maybe we should all take our guns and hunting dogs and check it out.

I think a good sized group of us walking around boulder with our guns and dogs would be fantastic. It is open carry here after all...
