Just wanted to post a couple of pictures of Luke's new Stoneface collar. Great craftsmanship, very nice guy and fast shipping make it worth paying a couple dollars extra. I really like the look of the 1.5" collar, really pops. Very happy with the new collar, seems like it will last forever.

B, I wish all my customers' dogs looked as good as that youngster. They make the collars look good!

I have orange, red, blue, green, yellow and pink. Here is a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54lZH9Ms ... ature=plcp

I have streamlined the process and all the hardware on the recently-made collars are all nickel or stainless steel. I'm giving a $3 discount on the older-made (blemished) collars. They have nickel buckles and rings and brass name plates and rivets and some have light cosmetic issues, like rivets that aren't evenly aligned. Perfectly functional, but not as aesthetic. If anyone want to buy a bunch of the blemished collars I would give you a good price.

Otherwise, the pricing is $15 per plain collar, $20 for collars with name plates. The shipping runs $5 for orders of one collar and there is no shipping charge on multiple-collar orders.

I'm also introducing a 1", blaze orange, leather-feel collar with all brass hardware. They will be $10 without a name plate, $15 with and $5 shipping on orders of one collar.

No website yet. I walk for my diploma on the 15th and will get on the ball and get a site made up soon after.

Rowdy, I still suggest that you put a link in your signature area about your collars that either goes to the video thread or one of the collar conversation threads, you would probably get a few extra hits off of that. If I end up getting another pup this late spring / summer I will be looking you up :D

Really good pricing. My pup is still just 3 weeks old and I haven't decided on a name yet but will look you up when I'm ready for one.
Thanks

Doesn't gundogsupply sponsor this forum? If I were you I'd see if you could get in contact with them through the forum and send them some free samples. If they like them maybe they'll put an order in. Just a thought.

Are you able to make the 1.5" with a center ring?

Newb, I actually have that very thing planned. Between trying to get squared away (streamline the process, buying equipment, etc), working full-time and carrying 18 hours of upper division coursework, I just don't have to time to produce a bulk amount yet. I graduate on the 15th and have the shipping address in my wallet to ship off a few samples in a couple weeks from now. I have also been contact by other distributors who are interested in the collars. Things are looking up.

G, thanks for the reminder! I meant to get on that then just flat forgot.

my best collar is those 2 inch elastic ones that come in orange/emrald green reversible.
i use green the most.
boy do they stick out .
i punched a hole in it for a tieband for my bell.

collar does not have a ring for leash ,working on that as we write.

Stoneface-

I'm new to this board, so if I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. However, I have asked you a question twice and you will not answer me... What's the deal?

B, man, I'm sorry! I scrolled back up and saw the two times you asked me the same question. I honestly, HONESTLY didn't even notice. Don't know how I overlooked it, but you can ask pretty much anyone on this board and they'll tell you that it is not like me to pass up a chance to jack my jaws. ;)

I haven't made one in the past because it would be pretty bulky with the already-increased width. If you would like one, though, I would be happy to fix you up. It would take longer to finish, but I'm not sure what it would cost to have a single large O-ring shipped unless I could maybe find one at a hardware store which is a great possibility. I wouldn't think more than a couple extra dollars.

Let me know, man. You can also text me at 417-592-7561.

You know, I may also be able to find a halter square on the cheap and grind off the excess, if you like.

Thanks for getting back with me. I don't want you to have to track down an O ring just for a couple of collars, but I do think that there will be a demand for your collars with a center ring. That's the only kind of collar that I run. Let me know if you end up ordering O rings and making those type collars.

I to think that gundog supply would be interested in your collars as I don't believe they offer a 1.5" collar on their website...

I think the first 5 posts are delayed and viewed by a mod to make sure you're not here to troll. I'm guessing that may have been the issue. Welcome to the forum.

Actually, while I was at work today it donned on me that my friend who owns the hardware store) n town can probably order me anything I want and have it brought in with his weekly shipment , no shipping expense to me. If you're interested, let me know and I will see what I can do.
