looking for a pup
Does anybody have or owns any dogs from Friedelsheim kennels. Don't want to stir the pot just want simple straight forward info. I am looking to get a pup later this year from this kennel? If you have any pics would be great. Thanx muchachos for reading.
Re: looking for a pup
Donnie is one of the good guys he raises super dogs. What litter are you in on? I don't own one of his dogs but I have seen quite a few and they have all been nice.
Re: looking for a pup
All three of mine are Friedelsheims. Great performers! I think he had a litter lastnight. As normal his dogs are high drive, hard charging with a ton of natural abilty high tail set that train fairly easy. Im out of town for a while Look thru sum my older threads i posted pics of my guys somewhere on here. Good luck.

Thanks guys...,whatsnext I like him a lot too. Its one of my favorite pics, He's a litter mate brother to my mason every bit of the performer too. I almost keep him. I help train a lot of his dogs. He has a up an coming female Friedelsheims Storm Chaser aka stormy I wish I had a pic of her but I don't. She's probably going to be breed in the spring she's really nice.

Have fun Man!
Re: looking for a pup
Very nice dogs hattrick.
Donnie has produced some superior dogs through the years, excellent choice IMO. Cooper is a very nice dog if that's the breeding your going after. I believe he has two by cooper and another by mason who is a fine dog as well coming up. Anyone you choose I know you'll be happy.
Good luck

Re: looking for a pup
I have one of Donnie's pups from Thunder x Joule and she's a great dog. Tested NA II (108 pts) at age 7 months after being injured the morning of the test. Calm in the house and a dynamo in the field. Great prey drive, super temperament, natural retriever, heck of a nose.

Re: looking for a pup
Quick question? How much do the females weight? Do theses dogs range far. I have a gsp that came from FT lines and she can range 300+ yds. This time I want a gsp that can stayed a bit closer. Them hills are getting hard to climb and not getting any younger
Re: looking for a pup
Females average from 45-60# it all depends on the said dog.
These lines can get out there aways. But it all comes down to the way you train. You can train a field trial dog to stay in. Talking to much to the dog in the field is the way to go about this.

Lab,
At 11 months old my dog is 47 pounds and 23" at the shoulder.
As for range, she adjusts to cover. she'll get out 200 yards in the open field and maybe 50 in the woods. She always "checks back."
I didn't say it in my earlier post but her water drive is impressive as well. Loves water retrieves and has broken the thin ice at pond's edge to retrieve a bumper.
