Vernal Pike, this seems like you're trying to bait a conversation, aka trolling.

I don't think that she would be good for hunters
The current director of our federal fish and wildlife department is an anti hunting, anti gun environmentalist, at least that's what Ted Nugent said on Fridays "The Dana Radio Show".
It would be good to get back more CRP that has been put back into crops.

Moderator please move to another department if appropriate.

Both Hillary and Nugent remind me most of pumpkin pie in vibram soles.
I put no credit to the agenda-thumping self-focused manipulative, inflammatory rhetoric of either extreme.

The USFWS has precious little to do with the decline in CRP enrollment.

Mismanagment of the NFs has occurred under both the Democrats and Republicans.
Same with many issues of managing all habitat and species, hunted and not, for viability and health.
Politicos of any measure simply lean the way of the wind, regardless.
The Voters are little better.

Understand that no matter who you vote for, you are going to elect a politician. A politicians first priority is to get re elected. That means money. That means lobbyists. That means we have the finest govt money can buy. How much govt can you afford to buy?

http://www.propublica.org/article/medic ... stake-1020
Six years ago, a group of lawmakers and aides crafted Medicare Part D, the prescription drug program for seniors that has produced billions of dollars of profits for pharmaceutical companies.

Today, at least 25 of those key players are back, but this time they’re lobbyists, trying to persuade their former colleagues to protect the lucrative system during the health care reform negotiations.
Both major parties involved. Public gets screwed equally by all. This may be why the US spends about twice as much of GDP as other first world nations on medical costs. Think about that the next time you talk to any politician.
Why own a dog? There's a danger you know,

You can't own just one, for the craving will grow.

There's no doubt they're addictive, wherein lies the danger.

While living with lots, you'll grow poorer and stranger.

Yes Bill, that is how the political system often works in this country. Are you one who subscribes to the idea of voting for "the lesser of the two evils" and "they're all corrupt" or do you not vote? Your home state has produced politicians such as Jesse Ventura, Al Franken and a presidential candidate in Walter Mondale who lost in 49 states in the general election, so I definitely feel for you.

Madmurph, would you like to reveal your home state as well since you're eager to critique the states of others? Also, voting for the "lesser of two evils" is still voting, so I fail to see how this is a bad thing... Maybe you vote for the "worse of two evil?" Who's to say?
