What is the best map to find public hunting land in Minnesota? Looking around the Chippewa National Forest. Thank you!

Probably The Minnesota DNR has some sort of maps. One thing You need to be aware of is that National Forests are not necessarily public land. That can be a bit confusing..................CJ

As others have said, the county plat books are super detailed. I've also used the "All Outdoors Atlas." I think there are three for MN that cover the different regions.

Also try contacting the Ruffed Grouse Society. They might be able to help you out.

Delorme map co sells a booklet for most states.
Look for the MN atlas it shows public land, roads etc in decent detail. Also, the GPS mapping chip advice is excellent.
