The Region 5 NGSPA Championships kick off tomorrow in Southeren Illinois. Looks like they havedrawn 44 dogs for the open shooting dog and my boy is in the 5th brace.

Gonna get up early and go over and watch the boy do it. Will be a lot of fun. Only a couple of hours from here and will get there in plenty of time.

Lost him at about 40 and pulled the tracker and he was off standing in the bushes. Just my luck.

Shooting Dog

Post by Hotpepper » Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:32 am

They had 2 braces left to do this morning and then start the allagfe. The same guys are judging the allage so I would bet they start after lunch.

44 dogs in a shooting dog stake is great. The allbreed will be hugh for sure. Lots of pros there.

I heard Ruger was prettu good, saw Angus go and I liked him a lot, Rich said his lady dog was real good eysterday with 5 finds.

It is a good stake.

25 allage dogs.

I had heard the same Jerry, Ruger was good, Cooper was good, Angus, Faith, had not heard about Lady yet but she had not run yet either. Let us know if you hear anything. I will be there Sat. morning for the AM. and allday Sunday for the start of the Allbreed.
