Where does a person find a replacement OEM type lanyard ring for one of these training pistols?

They have lanyards at www.lcsupply.com, what do you mean by a lanyard ring? Would a split ring do? You can buy all kinds of those as the hardward store, even stainless so it will not rust out.

That is tougher. The first place I would try is http://www.e-gunparts.com/ , which is Numrich Arms on the Internet. I know they have parts for H & R's cause I have bought some for my old .32 from them. Whether they have parts for the NEF, which I think are the same basic design but a little different from the old H & R, I don't know, you will have to check.

I buy their catalog every year (which you can order over the Internet for a few bucks). It is about 4" thick and has parts for just about every firearm known to man. It is worth it if you are a shooter.

John

Today the thought hit me ... call the manufacturer.

I called H&R/NEF/Marlin and in less than 5 minutes for $10 had the lanyard ring ordered from the source.

Lesson. Never overlook the obvious.

Have you tried Rockler hardware?
As a wood worker I am constantly getting their catalogs, which have just about everything.
Wood Crafters also carry a lot of hardware like that.
Hope this helps

I would appreciate knowing what the phone number is to order this lanyard ring. I need one also.

Thanks
