We had the fun trial this weekend. Had some nice dog work good people and good food even if I do say so my self. I think every one enjoyed it. I did not hear anyone complain or anything neg. It was wicked hot. High 80's. Folks did a great job of looking after their dogs. This field is tougher than any NSTRA field I have run in but every one and dog was up for it.
Ted, It was good to see you as well. I will be trying to get to VA and NC this fall and winter a few times. Steve came up and judged for me on both days, along side of another good friend of mine Bob E. I Picked up some lobsters and steamers and we went out to Bobs camp on the lake for a Lobster feed. EMEMEM goooood! I smoked up six racks of ribs and made some BBQ sauce for a side and that was lunch for Sat. STeve, Vicki, Janet my wife, Al and Patty all helped alot on the everything. I really appreciated their efforts all around. Steve made sure we had some nice refreshments for Sat in the lodge, Some from down your way Ted, You know what I mean? I love "Apple Pie".
Al Estes And Patty of Three Rivers WIng Shooting Of Milo Maine, were great hosts as always and just plain good people.
I will post some pics later this week when I get caught up.
