Welcome to BriarField
Briarfield kennels is a small family kennel in the beautiful Tennessee mountains along the cumberland plateau. We are blessed with a large private lake and thousands of acres for training and hunting. We have loved and trained many dogs throughout our lives, but our first gundog, Katie, a German Shorthaired Pointer, joined our family in 1999, and since then we've been hooked. Our main focus is training and hunting outstanding German Shorthaired Pointers. We enjoy participating in AKC hunt tests, North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association Tests, AKC conformation showing, and International All Breed Canine Association events.
