Dixie - looking back at the past few months
Dixie - looking back at the past few months
Just thought I would post a few pics of Brookzee's little girl, Dixie. I first met Dixie at the Bismarck, ND airport in May. After a couple of weeks of conditioning the training began. Our goal for Dixie all along was to help her become a polished horseback hunting dog and hopefully show her in a few trials. Well, enough of my rambling, here are some pics that can better explain the past few months:
Hope everyone enjoyed the pics. Looking forward to seeing ya Jason. Have a good 1. JW

Nothing beats and early morning rise, be it a trout or a covey.

Hey lil' bro how about posting some more of those pics of Brian from the horseback hunt?

Whatever happened to her?
I have already sent the paper work in to FDSB and AKC to have her name changed Sandstones' Prairie Rose. She is a nice little dog Jason. Each time I cut her loose, she gets better and better. I think, change that, I KNOW that all of this hunting and working on these sharpies has really helped her develop into a mature bird finding machine. I will be cuttin' her loose in about 45 mins, maybe I can add to the photo essay a bit more today. Have a good 1. JW
