Handler of the Year
Got the American Field yesterday and in the list of Handler of the Year was the GDF own Mr. Rich Heaton.
I have been told on good authority from Idaho that the dog makes him look really good, how about it Dr. Favor.

Thats a BIG one! Way to go Rich.
Re: Handler of the Year
Owes it to his training partners and scouts. We all know the handler is just a figure piece, stuck out in front to keep 'em out of trouble!
Making himself a regular on the Purina lists! Good job!

Re: Handler of the Year
Uhhh, might be a dumb question, but for a non-AF guy... what constitutes 'handler of the year'? Does it go by points earned with all dogs handled (which is what I would assume), or is it by vote etc..? THanks.

Holy Moley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I started a thread where they are not talking about crossing to semmital cattle or something. This is a big deal to be on the list and let a bunch of guys and ladies on the GDF throw stuff at him

Re: Handler of the Year
Idaho's lucky lady? I know a Heaton owns a dog called Copper Sunrise, but I think that's his dads dog.I think he handles it too however.I never bothered to get a field and look through it but I think from memory I'm at least half right.
