Replacement collar for Garmin 3/4"
Electronics are fine but this clad collar with cloth in the middle is horrendous for heavy usage.
Their roller collar replacements are better/easier if not in 100% condition but still poor.
Collars have to be so thin to pass thru/around device that I cant find a good replacement?

Hoping somebody would ask (and answer) this question, as until you've experienced how atrocious the collar quality on the Garmin actually is... you might think baling twine would be an improvement, and you might well be right!

Cabelas has long plastic replacement collars with holes every inch so they can be cut to the required length. They have them in 1" & 3/4" widths.
At least they did in the past--works fine for my Garmin e-collar.

Called GunDog Supply. They are most helpfull. They are aware of the collar problem but their's is of similar construction. I asked about anything else and Drew mentioned the quick release nylon collars but he added they are not as secure.

I sure haven't had an issue with the 3/4" collar on my Alpha Mini. I do carry a spare just in case.

weimdog, found these https://www.ebay.com/i/123809263413?chn ... gKog_D_BwE on eBay - at the price, certainly worth a shot (or two or three!), what with at least having an O-ring and decent buckle.weimdogman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 2:29 pmGoing to check out the sportdog collars.

Thanks for the link
Re: Replacement collar for Garmin 3/4"
Turns out to be one nice collar - Amish-made and fits the bill for quality. Only hitch - and it can be worked around - is the thickness and stiffness prevent it from being threaded through *all* the Garmin collar openings. I circumvented that by looping it over the top of the collar. Got the 21" and it's good for a Lab's neck. If you were going with a belly collar for pointing dog training you'd probably need a 30-inch. But again, @$3 a shot, a deal.crackerd wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 2:15 pmweimdog, found these .... on eBay - at the price, certainly worth a shot (or two or three!), what with at least having an O-ring and decent buckle.weimdogman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 2:29 pmGoing to check out the sportdog collars.
